Who we are
This website belongs to Nema Home Care Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 10207367. Our registered office is 48 Station Way, Buckhurst Hill, Essex, IG9 6LN. We decide how the information you give us here is used, which makes us its “controller” under UK data protection law. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for your name, your phone number, your email address if you want to give it, and a message. We use these to reply to you and to understand what care might help. We do not use them for marketing.
Your message may include information about someone's health or care needs. We treat it as confidential and use it only to respond and to plan care, which UK data protection law allows for the purposes of health and social care.
When you call or email us
We use what you tell us to help you, in the same way as an enquiry.
When you apply for a job
Applications come to us by email, on our application form. We use them to decide who to interview and, if we offer you a job, to carry out the checks the law requires of care employers, such as the right to work and a DBS check.
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working. We do not use these to identify you.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies to track you, for analytics or for advertising, and it does not show content from other sites, such as embedded maps, that would set their own. If that ever changes we will ask for your agreement first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Mailgun, which delivers enquiry form messages to our inbox, using its European service.
- Others where the law requires it, for example to protect someone from harm.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, the safeguards UK data protection law requires are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as we need to respond and follow them up. If you then receive care from us, or join our team, your information becomes part of your care or staff record, which we keep for the periods the law and our records policy set.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete it, or to stop or limit how we use it
- object to how we use it
Some of these rights have limits, for example where the law requires us to keep care records. To use any of them, email info@nemahomecare.co.uk, call 020 7952 1480, or write to us at our registered office. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy
Please tell us first, so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
People we support, and our staff
This notice covers the website. If we provide care to you, or you work for us, we give you separate information about how we handle your records. Ask us for a copy, or see our policies.
